   Research:          

             Martha Lincoln graduated from Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts in 2002 with a concentration in nonfiction writing. Prior to graduate study, she worked as a development officer for various educational and cultural nonprofit organizations in Chicago. She is now a Chancellor's Fellow at the Graduate Center's PhD Program in Anthropology. Her research interests include medical anthropology and contemporary issues in public health, as well as social movements and religious revivals in regions experiencing political and economic transformation. This fall, Martha will be starting her second year of study at CUNY.
