1. Explain the difference between direct and indirect fractures. How can direct
and indirect fractures be distinguished from one another in the case of human
skeletal remains?
2. What are some typical complications of fractures?
3. What types of fractures commonly occur on the skull? Name some common causes
of cranial fractures and describe their appearance.
4. Define each of the following terms: green stick fracture, comminuted
fracture, stress fracture, compression fracture, callus.
