Mary Waters began her Queens College career in the Jewish Studies Program in January of 1995. Since November of 2000, Mary has been working in the Academic Advisement Center and currently serves as Assistant Director. She completed her Master’s thesis in June 2006 entitled, “Genocide of European Jews: Explaining the Behavior of Perpetrators of the Holocaust.”

One of the goals and targets of the Academic Advisement Center is to provide excellent service to all Queens College students. In that endeavor, she is personally committed to our students in enabling them to achieve academic success. She enjoys traveling (especially to Italy, Colorado and Nova Scotia), reading (mostly non-fiction), and walking outdoors (not on a treadmill).
