In May of 2003, Taruna graduated from Queens College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Before returning to Queens College, she worked three years with The Steppingstone Foundation, (a non-profit college access program for students from underserved communities) as an Assistant Dean of Admission, Advisor, and Preparation and Placement Associate. With a passion for international development and education, Taruna has lived and worked in a number of countries, including: Guyana, Brazil, Ethiopia and China. Upon obtaining her Master of Arts Degree in International Educational Development, she looks forward to further pursuing a career working with international students and families in the NYC area. |
