There are several ways in which a student can be exempted from the physical education requirement. The Physical Education requirement may be fulfilled in any one of the following ways:

• If you are currently certified as a lifeguard or scuba diver
• If you are a graduate of the police or firefighter academies
• If you are currently enrolled in or honorably discharged from the U.S.
          or other military
• If you have a equivalent college-level course in a physical activity
• If you have a passing grade in a course at Queens College from the FNES
          Dept.; courses numbered 11 – 30 only.
