2. Summer Session II

Did you know that you can get a jump start on your QC career by enrolling in a course this summer?  Incoming freshmen students are allowed to register for 1 course during Summer Session II, which begins on Monday, June 30 and concludes on Thursday, August 7.

Incoming freshmen may register for Summer Session II classes between Monday, April 14 and Tuesday, July 1.  Information about tuition costs and registration fees is available at the Bursar’s homepage: www.qc.cuny.edu/Bursar.

The following is a listing of recommended courses for new freshmen, which are being offered during Summer Session II.  The general education requirement(s) met by each course are also listed.  The next section includes a more detailed explanation about the QC general education requirements.

To register for a Summer Session II course, incoming freshmen students must first call the Academic Advising Center at (718) 997-5573 during regular business hours to be cleared to register.  Thereafter, students may register for ONE (1) or TWO (2) Summer Session II courses online, via http://esims.cuny.edu/qcTo log-in to e-SIMS, your student ID # is your social security number (or alternate ID # as assigned by QC) and your pin # is the last six (6) digits of your ID #.  You will need the 4-digit registration code for the course, which is listed in the online schedule of classes.
