Before the start of your first semester at Queens, The Academic Advising Center invites you to learn about the College’s majors, degree requirements, and course registration through its Freshman Advising and Registration Workshops, a series of orientation programs which are held throughout the summer.

Following your acceptance, you will receive an invitation in the mail to attend a workshop where you will meet faculty, staff, and students; and will become familiar with Queens College’s academic offerings, its beautiful campus, and bustling student life.  Working with academic advisors and Queens College student mentors, you will plan and register for your first-semester courses, and make important initial decisions as you embark on your college career.

Beginning March 31st, please call The Academic Advising Center’s new student phone line at (718) 997-5573 to reserve your seat at a workshop.  (You must be an accepted freshman to sign-up; contact Undergraduate Admissions if you need to apply).  Please note that workshop attendance is mandatory for all entering freshmen and dates fill up quickly—so respond ASAP!
