The Health Service Center provides veterans with temporary first-aid assistance for an injury or medical related problem on an as needed basis, while on campus, until the student can obtain service from a primary medical source, such as V.A. Hospital. We also provide a haven for those students that need temporary reprieve between classes while on campus. Health Service Center staff assists veterans with obtaining their immunization records to fulfill their registration requirement. Veterans can present a copy of recent discharge papers to qualify for a one year veterans waiver while waiting for records from the V.A. We assist veterans and reservists by providing necessary paperwork for obtaining immunization records. If vaccinations are needed to meet MMR requirements, they are administered free of charge at the Health Service Center.
