Thank you for expressing an interest in the Business and Liberal Arts Department (BALA) Internship Program.
The Program is designed to introduce BALA students to a business environment. It seeks to provide students
with important experience that will both inform their career decisions and facilitate their entrance into the workplace.
In order to be eligible to register for this site, each student must have:

1. Completed four (4) BALA courses or must receive a waiver from the instructor.

2. Maintained at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and be in good standing in the department.

3. For many positions, proof of citizenship, green card, or certain other immigration status may be required ; students must raise any potential problems with the Director.

How do I obtain an internship?

1. Click on this link Pre-Register and fill out the form, if already a member login here.

2. You must wait for the approval of Professor Leventhal. If you qualify for an internship you will receive an email with your username and password. If you do not qualify for an internship, you will receive an email explaining why.

3. Using your username and password to login, you will then be able to browse the various internships within the database. After initial login please follow the steps listed below:

4. Fill out the application(click on the link MY APPLICATION)

5. Review internship opportunities posted on the Bulletin Board outside of the BALA office AND those listed on the internship database(click on the link BROWSE INTERNSHIPS)

6. Prepare a list of internships in which you are interested in

7. Read: (1) Cover Letter.
                (2) Action words for resume and cover letter.
                (3) Examples of resumes to prepare your resumes.

8. Upload your resume

9. Email Professor Leventhal to let him know that you have completed the procedure and to request a meeting.
