Diversity Goals

The Faculty of the School Will:

• provide opportunities for students to facilitate recognition of the increasingly multicultural, multilingual, multiethnic, interdisciplinary and global nature of the discipline. 

The Students Will Be Expected To:

• recognize their professional responsibilities toward their diverse clientele.
• be able to respond to the unique information needs of special users,  (e.g., the economically disadvantaged and physically challenged).
• recognize developments in disciplines related to, and having an influence on, library/information services.
