A scholarly resource of streaming audio of recordings, liner notes, and essays from New World, Composers Recordings (formerly Composers Recordings Inc., CRI), Albany Records, Artifact Recordings, Cedille Records, Cold Blue Music, Deep Listening, Frog Peak Music, innova Recordings, Mutable Music, Pogus Productions, and other important labels.

Naxos Music Library
Online music collecction of classical music (streaming audio); includes access to music notes, cover artwork, the libretti and synopses of operas, composer and artist biographies, etc.; access is limited to ten (10) simultaneous users.

Naxos Video Library
Online video collection of classical music (streaming video); includes access to almost 1,500 videos of classical music performances, opera, ballet, live concerts, and documentaries; subtitles and librettos provided; access is limited to five (5) simultaneous users.

Opera in Video
Online video collection of opera performances (productions, interviews, documentaries); full-length streaming video; each video is fully transcribed, and indexed by subject, people, place, date, language, publisher, type.

Oxford Music Online (Grove)
An online database containing the contents of The New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, The Oxford Dictionary of Music, and The Oxford Companion to Music. The New Grove Dictionary includes updated articles and bibliographies.

The Grove Dictionary of American Music
A database of the second edition of AmeriGrove published in 2013. This is part of Oxford Music Reference, which includes updated articles and bibliographies.

Oxford Music Reference
A database of reference books on music including, The Grove Dictionary of American Music (2nd ed.), A Dictionary of Opera Characters (2nd ed.), The Grove Book of Opera Singers (2nd ed.), The Grove Book of Operas (2nd ed.), The Oxford Companion to Music, The Oxford Companion to the American Musical, and The Oxford Dictionary of Music (6th ed.). Please note that Queens College does not have access to some of the additional reference sources listed (including the Encyclopedia of Popular Music and The International Encyclopedia of Dance).

IPA Source
Collection of over 11,000 International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcriptions and literal translations of opera arias and art song texts; includes translations from Latin, French, Italian, German, and Spanish. Users can search by composer, poet, title, opera aria, and Latin text.

The largest full-text database for scholarly articles on music. Over 80 journals have full-text access while over 400 are indexed.

A fulltext journal provider that includes 83 core scholarly journals dedicated to music. Coverage runs from each journal's first issue through about five years ago.

Music Index
A comprehensive guide to music periodical literature. The index provides citations to articles, reviews, obituaries, and other materials found in more than 700 international music periodicals.

The most comprehensive citation database for music. It contains citations and abstracts for scholarly works in music, including articles, books, bibliographies, catalogues, dissertations, Festschriften, films, videos, iconographies, critical commentaries to complete works, ethnographic recordings, conference proceedings, reviews, etc.

RISM Online Catalogue of Musical Sources (RISM A/II)
The most comprehensive inventory of the world's musical sources of manuscripts or printed music, works on music theory, and libretti stored in libraries, archives, monasteries, schools and private collections. Only series A/II, Music manuscripts after 1600, is currently available online.

A Worldwide bibliographic database providing citations of books, journals, audio/visual materials, maps, scores, etc.
