Psychology 730.01: Theory and Method in Applied Behavior Analysis I
  • 2 lecture hours, 6 laboratory hours, 3 credits
  • Prerequisites: Open to all matriculated MA students in the CBA program or in the Learning Processes Ph.D. program. Others must obtain permission from the Head of MA Programs.
  • Co-requisites: Students must be concurrently enrolled in 730.05

An introduction to basic theory and methodology in the field of applied behavioral analysis, including: (1) the technical language, (2) operational definition, (3) assessment of reliability and generality, (4) data analysis, and (5) research design. As part of the course, students meet regularly with the instructor to discuss research design and review progress in co-requisite practicum.
