JohnThe Neuropsychology Subprogram of the City University of New York Doctoral Program in Psychology, located at Queens College, is comprised of two tracks: Basic Neuropsychology and Clinical Neuropsychology. Both tracks involve training in neuroscience and are heavily research-oriented.

The Basic Neuropsychology track consists of a 60-credit curriculum emphasizing competence in research and teaching in the area of brain-behavior relationships and focuses heavily on neuroscience topics.

The Clinical Neuropsychology track prepares students for careers as clinicians working with diverse patient populations. The Clinical Neuropsychology track provides students with a strong foundation in neuroscience, basic and clinical research opportunities, and clinical coursework and intensive externships.The curriculum includes 82 credits of coursework, two required years of externship experience (one year for course credit), and a two-year research project.In addition, Clinical students must complete a one-year internship.
