Women's Soccer Schedule

Jennifer Robbins scored three goals, including her team-leading sixth of the season, as the Lady Knights defeated Concordia College, 9-1, in Bronxville on Tuesday afternoon. With the victory Queens completes the 2007 campaign with an overall record of 6-10-2 and a conference record of 4-5-1.

Concordia drew first blood in the 15th minute when a free kick resulted in a goal by Rachel Woodland. Robbins answered for Queens five minutes later with the first of nine unanswered goals by her team when she deposited a cross from Caitlin O'Connell into the back of the net to tie the game at one. O'Connell followed with a goal of her own in the 32nd minute which enabled the Lady Knights to take a 2-1 lead into the intermission.

Robbins started a seven goal, second half barrage in the 51st minute when she scored her second of the game off of a corner kick. Her hat trick goal in the 76th minute followed goals by Chanelle Geoffroy (her first of the season), Laura D'Amore and Christina Salomen. Laura D'Amore would pick up her second of the match two minutes later after which Melissa Cuartas converted on a penalty kick to close out the scoring for the game and the season.

Senior Lady Knights midfielder Diana Redman has been named first team all-ECC in a vote taken amoung the league's head coaches. This is the second consecutive season in which Redman has received this honor.

Diana was a force on the pitch for Queens with 11 goals and 25 points. She accounted for just over 52% of her team's goals, 46% of their points and one-third of their shots taken. Diana's biggest scoring output came at Bloomfield College on September 25th when she scored four times and assisted on the Lady Knights' two other goals in a 6-2 victory.

Junior midfielder Diana Redman has been named second team 2005 NSCAA All-Northeast Regional in a vote released on November 28^th. Diana is one of 13 players from the NYCAC named to either the first or second teams.

Diana ranked fourth on the Lady Knights in points and goals and second in assists in helping the team to a single season school record 11 wins in 2005.
