Alicia Lampasso-Dillon is currently in her 18th year as head coach of the Lady Knights swim team. During her tenure she has 138 wins to her credit and her swimmers have broken 18 individual school records and five relay records.
On the national level, Coach Lampasso-Dillon has had an All-American and national qualifier for two consecutive years. Under her guidance, the QC swimmers have also qualified for the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships.
For the last four years Coach Lampasso-Dillon has served as the president of the Metropolitan Swim Conference. She has also been a member of the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Committee.
Prior to her arrival at Queens, Coach Lampasso-Dillon spent eight years as coach of the Flushing YMCA club team.
Coach Lampasso-Dillon graduated from Queens College in 1986 with a Masters of Science in Physical Education.
Camila returns for her third season as an assistant coach at Queens College, her alma mater. She graduated with a degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science while setting three as yet unbroken school records while, in the process, earning four consecutive MVP awards and three scholar-athlete awards as part of the QC Women's Swim Team. Camila was a part of the Venezuelan nation team from 1997 to 2000 and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy. Her goal is to not only build exceptional athletes but to also help them become better people.
