IN CASE YOU FAIL THE CPE

If you fail the CPE once, before retesting you should see a CPE adviser to plan an exam preparation program. You should plan to retest during the next semester.
If you fail the CPE twice, you must see a CPE adviser and complete recommended instruction before retesting.
If you fail the CPE three times, you must appeal to the USSC (Undergraduate Scholastic Standards Committee) to take the CPE a fourth time.
If you fail the CPE a fourth time, you will be converted to non-matriculated status.

A CPE adviser may recommend an appropriate test preparation program that includes one or more of the following activities:

  • CPE Mini-Courses.
