The Risorgimento Revisited

In the last fifteen years the study of the Italian Risorgimento has been renewed in significant ways. By addressing the issue of how modern Italian identity was first conceived and constructed, the conference will also invite reflection on the issues of patriotism and nationalism in present-day Italy.
