Library The Calandra
Institute’s non-lending research library contains books, journals,
magazines, and newspapers pertaining to Italian American history and culture.
The library also has items on The Calandra library houses the Saraceno collection, a generous gift from
the private collection of the late Pietro Saraceno, a professor of
administrative history at the This significant donation includes an extensive series of reference works,
old and rare volumes from as early as the 18th century, and entire runs of
scholarly periodicals and journals some dating to the 1800s. Among the many
unique items in the collection are the hundreds of volumes representing the
complete Legge e Decreti (laws and decrees) for the The Sarceno collection is open for use. The library is open to the
