Students Applying for an I-20
(You must be a secondary school graduate.)
Before coming to the U.S. to study, you need an I-20 in order to obtain a student visa (F-1). To get an I-20, mail the following documents to the ELI Visa Office:
- A completed ELI Application for an I-20. (The application is in this brochure and on our web site)
- A notarized Affidavit of Support Form(Click on link)
- A bank statement from the sponsor
- If you are under 18 years old, a copy of your high school diploma or university records
- A check or money order for U.S. $80, payable to Queens College," as payment for the nonrefundable I-20 application fee.
- The ELI does not require proof of immunization. However, the Health Service Center at Queens College recommends that you be immunized against measles, mumps and rubella before you come to the US. It is a good idea to bring proof of any vaccinations you have had in your country with you when you come to the US.
Mail all of the above to:
