Charles G. Schaefer was born 26th of March 1919 and served with distinction from 28th of January 1941 to 19th of February 1944. He rose through the ranks to become a Sergeant while serving in the Pacific Theater and was awarded with the Purple Heart and the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with one bronze service star, among others. He is buried at the Long Island National Cemetery.
