Biographical Information:
Toby Glickman is a retired teacher and Head of Department, United Nations International School, Queens and Manhattan. She has participated in graduate study at the World Music Institute, Wesleyan University, Connecticut. She is author of "Intercultural Music Education - the Early Years" in the Journal of the Indian Musicological Society. She presented "The Uses of Ethnomusicology in General Music Education" at the Mid-Atlantic Conference of the Society for Ethnomusicology at Rutgers University. She also has an unpublished manuscript: Rainbow of Sound: a Survey of World Music for Young People.
