Biographical Information:
Violinist Linda Sinanian has toured internationally and throughout the United States and Canada in performances of the solo, chamber music and orchestral repertoire. As the winner of numerous competitions and awards, solo performances with orchestras and recitals in New York, Boston, the Southeastern States, Canada and Europe launched her career and remain to fuel her musical life. She has successfully established several chamber ensembles on the eastern seaboard including the frequently recorded Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, Chamberosity! and the Faculty Artists of the Stony Brook Summer Music Festival. European tours hail especially laudatory reviews and have developed lasting cultural exchanges across the Atlantic. Following many years performing in the major concert halls of the East coast as concertmaster of L’Opera Lyrico Sperimantale in Spoleto, Italy and the Atlantic Philharmonic Orchestra, principal of the Boston Philharmonic, Boston Opera and the Jupiter Symphony Orchestra as well as performances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the Tchaikowsky Chamber Orchestra, Linda turned her focus to her greatest love – chamber music.

Chamber music collaborations with distinguished musicians as Thomas Brandis, Milan Turkovic, Gilbert Kalish, James Buswell, Charles Wadsworth, John Gibbons and Andres Diaz and Anton Kuerti shaped her unique and compelling musical voice. She is the violinist of Chamberosity! a New York based chamber ensemble. Presently, she is collaborating on a recording of the Brahms Horn Trio and other captivating yet lesser known Horn trios deserving of wider audience exposure.

Ardently dedicated to the musical education of the next generation of musicians, Linda is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Stony Brook Summer Music Festival. She has been guest lecturer at the Conservatories in Puerto Rico and Italy and at Georgia State University and has served on the faculty at Clayton State University.
