Biographical Information:

Jane Cho has been a successful arts administrator and educator since 2001. Before she joined the Aaron Copland School of Music as the Director of Administration, she served as an acting director of the career development center at The Juilliard School, providing career support for students, staff and faculty. Ms. Cho is also a founding board member of United Young Artists Foundation, a New York based organization that supports young artists.

An avid performing arts advocate, she has frequently appeared as a guest speaker at the School of American Ballet, Parsons The New School for Design and Brooklyn Youth Chorus Academy. She also has served as a panelist for the New York International Music Competition sponsored by Korean Radio Broadcasting.
As a pianist, Ms. Cho has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia. She gave numerous solo and chamber music concerts at Alice Tully Hall, Steinway Hall, Yamaha Piano Salon, and the 180 Maiden Lane Concert Series. In 2002, she developed and premiered the off-Broadway show Two, written by Ron Elisha with music by James Matheson. A portion of the proceeds was donated to the victims of September 11.

As a faculty member, Ms. Cho currently teaches piano at the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College, as well as a career development course she designed specifically for music students. Ms. Cho holds her Bachelor of Music degree from The Juilliard School and her Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music.
