Biographical Information:
Mark Anson-Cartwright, is a music theorist specializing in music of the common practice era, and Schenkerian analysis. He has presented many papers at national and international conferences, and has had articles on Schenkerian Analysis published in Music Analysis, Music Theory Spectrum, The Journal of Music Theory, and Intégral. He holds a Ph.D. from the Graduate Center of the City University and previously taught at Hofstra University, Yale University, the Mannes School of Music, and Hunter College. He is also the former editor of the music journal Theory and Practice.
