    Located in the Student union, the Office of Student Life/Student Activities helps students obtain an understanding of themselves and of their social and co-curricular environment. Participation in student activities enhances the intellectual and cultural life of the campus community by providing opportunities for students to participate as members of organizations and to plan and conduct various activities.

Services provided include:

  • Registering and assisting all undergraduate and graduate student organizations and clubs
  • Planning and organizing talks, workshops, and other campus wide events (e.g., Campus Fest, Health Week)
  • Publishing a student activities brochure for incoming students
  • Managing elections for the Academic Senate and Student Government
  • Coordinating applications for Who's Who and Honors and Awards
  • Organizing student lobbying campaigns
  • Coordinating Freshman Orientation
  • Planning and running the Leadership Development Program
  • Helping clubs and organizations to plan and manage budgets
