PROMO MTRLS

Welcome to my web site.  Contact me with any comments or questions via the modes listed under the professional info. section.

My current professional activities includes research on Educational Technology pedagogy useful for librarianship. My articles on this topic include a forthcoming article in JELIS,
"Information communication technology infusion in 21st century librarianship: proposing a blended core course that matters." and  "Cross-disciplinary prospecting:..." in E-JASL.

I presented a
poster session (#33) regarding technology literacy of support staff  at the ACRL National Conference in April '05.) and maintain active involvement in the American Library Association, including a stint on Council and a current appointment to the Education Committee.  The Task Force on copyright guidelines, that I chaired has just released the new web pages, (C)opyright@CUNY for CUNY and I also served as the Business Manager for the Urban Library Journal, a publication of the Library Association of the City University of New York. I am a visiting Asst. Professor in the Pratt Institute School of Library and Information Studies  and also at the Queens College graduate program where I deliver a course on technology infusion in librarianship.

My current personal activities include dabbling in ceramics, (centering on the wheel builds character and patience!), volunteering with the Children's Aid Society, traveling, enjoying my little family and eating!
