The Student Complex Analysis and Dynamical Systems Seminar

Meets Tuesday, 11:30am – 1:00pm, Room: Math Thesis Exam Room

This seminar is coordinated by CUNY Professors who are interested in complex analysis and dynamical systems: Profs. Linda Keen, Jun Hu, Saeed Zakeri, Yunping Jiang, Fred Gardner,  Nik Lakic, Sudeb Mitra, Ara Basmajian, Reza  Chamanara, Saric Dragomir

In the spring semester of 2009, we are interested in applications of quasiconformal mapping theory and Teichmuller theory to dynamical systems. The purpose of this seminar is to have some students to prepare for their thesis problems and some students to prepare for their second exams. If you have any question, please contact Prof. Yunping Jiang at yunping.jiang@qc.cuny.edu.

On Friday, Professor Yunping Jiang gives a course on Dynamical Systems and Quasiconformal Mappings in the morning from 9:30am-11:30am. In the afternoon from 2:00pm-3:00pm is our regular complex analysis and dynamical systems seminar, please see the complex analysis and dynamical systems seminar for more information
